Operations Manager - D365

Our client is seeking an Operations Excellence Manager to serve as the Operations lead within an ongoing Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) transformation initiative. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, and production processes are effectively designed, optimized, and aligned within the D365 environment. This is a business-facing role focused on process ownership, operational excellence, and ERP enablement. The successful candidate will help define how the business should operate within D365 and partner with technical teams responsible for configuration, development, and support. What You'll Do Serve as the functional Operations lead for the organization's D365 platform and future enhancements Evaluate manufacturing and supply chain processes and identify opportunities for improvement within D365 Gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for D365 teams Drive process standardization across production, inventory management, planning, warehousing, and supply chain functions Partner with D365 administrators, developers, consultants, and business stakeholders to implement process improvements Lead business process mapping, gap analysis, and future-state design activities Support D365 implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives Analyze operational data and KPIs to drive decision-making and improve performance Develop training materials, process documentation, and user adoption strategies Act as the liaison between Operations and the D365 project team What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience supporting manufacturing, production, supply chain, or operations environments Experience participating in or leading a Dynamics 365, Dynamics AX, Dynamics NAV, Business Central, SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Infor, or similar ERP implementation Strong understanding of how manufacturing and supply chain processes are enabled through ERP systems Experience gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, and translating operational needs into system solutions Proven background in process improvement, process mapping, and operational optimization Ability to influence stakeholders and drive process decisions across multiple business functions Strong communication skills with both business and technical teams Preferred Qualifications Direct experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365 Finance & Operations, D365 Supply Chain Management, Business Central, Dynamics AX, or Dynamics NAV) Experience supporting manufacturing modules within D365 Familiarity with production planning, inventory management, warehouse operations, procurement, BOMs, routings, and supply chain processes within D365 Experience supporting D365 implementations, upgrades, migrations, or post-go-live optimization efforts Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience Power BI, SQL, Tableau, or other reporting and analytics tools Experience with MES, WMS, SCM, or other manufacturing systems If this sounds like you, we'd love for you to apply! #J-18808-Ljbffr
