Benefits Analyst

Benefit AnalystAon is looking for a Benefit Analyst! In this role, you will adjudicate benefits for various client debt cancellation programs which include coverages such as involuntary unemployment, disability, loss of life, etc. Each client's programs are adjudicated based on terms and conditions and standard operating procedures. There are production and quality expectations based on client contractual requirements. This is a hybrid (3 days in office) schedule, located in the Alpharetta, GA office. As part of the role, to assist in facilitating the benefit process, the Benefit Analysts will also handle incoming and outgoing phone calls to/from customers and third parties. This will require the Benefit Analyst to listen to customers, address all questions or complaints, and provide an accurate response. To be successful, you should be customer-focused, detail-oriented, and efficient.What your day will look like:Process benefit related transactions in a timely and accurate mannerReview and analyze what documentation is needed to process a benefitReview daily follow-up status reports and prioritize and manage daily inventory to meet contractual service levelsManage inbound calls in a timely mannerAbility to identify and respond efficiently and accurately to customers and providing solutions and/or alternativesEngage in active listening with the customer, confirming or clarifying information and diffuse situations as neededAbility to maneuver through various systems while engaging with the customerDocument details of customer's inquiries and/or complaints and the actions taken to resolve their issues in a comprehensible wayUnderstand and strive to meet or exceed production and quality metrics while providing excellent and consistent customer serviceSkills and experience that will lead to success:At least 1 year industry-specific experience in debt cancellation/benefits area or like industryCustomer service experience and strong communication and listening skillsAbility to multi-task and manage time effectivelyWrites clearly, concisely, and effectivelyStrong analytical and problem-solving skills and maintain quality focusCommitted to providing superior customer serviceAbility to work independently and work well with others in a team environmentProficient in Microsoft Office SuitesEducation: Bachelors degree or equivalent years of industry experienceAon values an innovative and inclusive workplace where all colleagues feel empowered to be their authentic selves. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
