Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. Position Overview Seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical RN for a busy acute care hospital. The unit primarily cares for post-surgical patients, including orthopedic, general surgery, and neurological populations. Experience with Epic EMR is highly preferred. Patient Population Post-operative Orthopedic Patients General Surgery Patients Neurological/Neuro Med-Surg Patients Schedule 3x12-Hour Day Shifts 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Weekend rotations based on department needs Potential floating within scope of practice No call required Requirements Active RN License (Compact License Accepted) BLS Certification (AHA Required) Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg experience Previous Travel Nursing Experience Required Epic EMR experience preferred Unit Details Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 5:1 to 6:1 Fast-paced acute care environment Opportunity for extension and possible temp-to-perm placement Ideal Candidate Strong Med-Surg background Experience with post-surgical patient care Comfortable caring for orthopedic, neuro, and general surgery patients Adaptable and team-oriented traveler Apply today for immediate consideration!
