About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their executive leadership team. The COO will be a key figure in driving the operational performance of the organization, with a focus on improving efficiency, quality, patient safety, financial performance, and growth. This role involves providing executive leadership for hospital operations, developing and executing operational plans, and leading initiatives to enhance patient access and capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering strong partnerships with physicians and clinical leaders, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading construction projects. A critical aspect of the role is to recruit, develop, and lead high-performing teams, while also building strong relationships with key stakeholders to advance the organization's mission. Candidates for the COO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 10 years' progressive healthcare leadership experience, including at least five years in a senior operational role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hospital operations, financial management, and leading quality and safety initiatives. They must demonstrate the ability to lead organizational change, build trusted partnerships, and make data-driven decisions. The role requires a leader who can inspire high-performing teams, model the organization's values, and foster a culture of compassion, integrity, and service. Experience in regulatory preparedness, and accreditation, and a strong background in financial stewardship are essential.
