Bookkeeper

Bookkeeper - Old Lyme, CT Beacon Hill was founded to set a new standard in search, career placement and flexible staffing. Our client, a growing organization, is seeking a Bookkeeper to support daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records. This role will assist with transactional accounting, reconciliations, reporting, and general administrative support within a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities Process and maintain financial transactions and accounting records. Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies as needed. Assist with general ledger maintenance and routine accounting functions. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation. Support month-end activities and other periodic accounting processes. Maintain organized and accurate financial records. Provide administrative and operational support to the accounting team. Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience. Experience supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations. Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
