Location: West Hartford, CT Pay Rate: $32.78 per hour with.80 cents Shift Differential Shifts Available: 3rd Shift Job Type: Temp to Perm

Job Description: We are currently seeking experienced CNC Machinists for 3rd shift opportunities at our facility in West Hartford, CT. This is a temp-to-perm position with competitive pay and long-term potential.

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various CNC machines including Mills, Lathes, Grinders, and Swiss Machines (STAR, Tsugami, Citizen). You will work from detailed blueprints and engineering drawings to ensure the precision and quality of machined components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC Mills, Lathes, Grinders, and Swiss Machines
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T symbols
• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions
• Monitor machine operations to identify and resolve malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery
• Work collaboratively with team members to optimize production processes
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience operating STAR, Tsugami, and Citizen Swiss Machines
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (preferred)
• Skilled in running multiple machines simultaneously
• Ability to operate power tools and related machining equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
