• Beds: Whole hospital (with exception of NICU)
• Experience: 2 years
• First-time traveler: Yes



Patient Types:
• Neonate to geriatric, inpatient, ICU, and ER, including deliveries and open hearts



Patient Ratios:
• 1:1



Required Certifications:
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, CRT or RRT

Skills required
• Required: Draw ABGs, wean and extubate, vent management, bipap, cpap, nebs
• Preferred: Place art lines, intubate
• NICU- experience in C-sections and infant vents - must be comfortable with deliveries (preferred)


Support on the Unit:
• Code blue/RRT team
• Other respiratory therapists



Charting System/Equipment:
• EPIC
• Alaris IV pumps
• Pyxis
• Puritan Bennet
• Hamilton Vents



Floating:
• Throughout the facility, ER
• Orientation:
• 1-2 shifts based on comfort level

Scheduling:
• Weekend rotation: every 3rd
• Can we approve time off? Up to 7 days
• No on call
• Holiday Expectations: 1 summer/1 winter
