Job Description

Occupational Therapist - Home Health Care - Northern Oakland County - 20 Hours/Week

$5,000 Sign on Bonus

The position will be in the Territory of Northern Oakland County The cities will include but are not limited to: 

NORTH Clarkston, NORTH Commerce Twp, NORTH Farmington, NORTH Farmington Hills, NORTH Milford, NORTH Novi, NORTH Orchard Lake, NORTH Sylvan Lake NORTH Walled Lake, NORTH Waterford, NORTH West Bloomfield, NORTH White Lake, NORTH Wixom

**General Summary**

Under the supervision of the site Team Leader or Supervisor, the Occupational Therapist will:

• **Deliver dynamic OT evaluations and treatment** that make a real difference in patients' lives and help them thrive in their home environments.
• **Connect and collaborate** with patients, coworkers, physicians, and other team members to ensure everyone's on the same page about patient care needs—and keep meticulous documentation that tells the complete story.
• **Lead and empower** your Assistant and tech team members, delegating tasks strategically to maximize impact and build a strong care team.
• **Keep the wheels turning** by managing accurate and timely patient billing information so our team can focus on what matters most: patient care.

Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS 

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Master's Degree, preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS

• Current State of Michigan Registration and National board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Patient care setting with potential exposure to communicable disease.
• Limited noise, temperature fluctuation and dust are possible.
