Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Alabama Physical Therapy license required prior to start of assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred. This is a preferred item, not required.
• Productivity expectation: approximately 60 visits per week; typically 12–14 patient visits per day with double-booking of follow-up visits expected.
• Must be willing to work up to 40 hours per week. 36 hours guaranteed; any overtime must be approved by the director beforehand.
• New graduates and first-time travelers are accepted.
• Applicants must be licensed and able to practice independently. PTA applicants will not be accepted.

• Facility type: Outpatient clinic.
• Shift name: Days.
• Schedule expectations: 36 hours guaranteed with expectation to work up to 40 hours; productivity expectation is 60 visits per week.
• Patient population: Outpatient orthopedics.
• Travel team option: Position may be part of a travel team within the clinic or a neighboring clinic.
• Floating: No float to other clinics required.
