Key Qualifications:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience working with K-12 student populations, including elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Strong skills in psychological assessment, intervention development, and data-driven recommendations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, administrators, and support staff
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and psychoeducational assessments to evaluate student learning, behavior, and emotional needs
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies for at-risk students
- Provide counseling and consultation services to students, families, and staff
- Support the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to promote positive behavioral supports and inclusive practices
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, crisis intervention, and prevention efforts
- Stay current with best practices and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
