Project Manager, Sr.

Senior Project Manager – Pittsburgh (Cheswick) Location: Pittsburgh, PA – Cheswick office. Salary: $113,900 – $189,800 per year (general guideline). Responsibilities Leads and executes mid‑sized projects or a definable portion of a larger program in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. Collaborates with diverse teams to ensure project objectives are achieved on time and within budget. Defines, launches, and drives mission‑critical strategic and operational initiatives in core projects. Resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative and practical ways. Creates change‑management methods including ownership of a documentation library, communication plans and process training. Develops standards and processes for scheduling, administration and accounting. Acquires follow‑on business associated with assigned programs and supports new business development by leading proposals. Manages, coordinates and controls Project Work Plan execution to achieve technical, cost and schedule objectives. Works efficiently and effectively towards goals in a complex, diverse environment with multiple constraints. Leads the project team and regular project meetings to monitor and drive progress toward objectives. Maintains effective customer communications, ensuring all requirements and expectations are addressed. Addresses and resolves projects scope, technical requirements, quality, schedule, resource assignments, cost, customer interface and other related issues. Communicates progress, issues and resolution options to team members, customers and management. Reviews and controls project cost, including coordination and certification of Estimate at Complete dates. Develops and monitors the Project Risk Management Plan as part of planning and execution. Interacts with sourcing and suppliers to plan for and secure materials needed for the project and future production. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent with appropriate coursework. 7+ years of project management or project leadership experience. Excellent organization, communication (written and oral) and presentation skills. Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes and procedures. Project Management Professional Certification (preferred). Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance. Flexible work schedule – work from home (1 day) or 9/80 schedule.
