Position Overview We’re hiring a Social Media Manager for a 3 month contract to represent Optimism’s voice across key social platforms. This role is integral to the Growth team and will be responsible for creating engaging, educational, and on‑brand content that amplifies our ecosystem, strengthens community engagement, and promotes key initiatives. As the voice of Optimism on social media, you’ll collaborate across teams to ensure timely, accurate, and compelling communication that aligns with our values and mission. Role Responsibilities Create high‑quality posts and threads that drive engagement across both brand and developer‑focused channels. Collaborate cross‑functionally with Growth, Governance, Product, and Engineering teams to amplify ecosystem updates, product launches, milestones, and other initiatives. Manage and coordinate live streams and other real‑time content activations. Track and analyze performance metrics to inform social media strategy and reporting. Help shape and evolve Optimism’s tone, voice, and storytelling across all social channels. What Skills Do You Bring 2–4 years of experience managing social media for crypto/Web3 brands, with a strong understanding of the space’s dynamics and audience. Proficiency with platforms including Twitter, Typefully, Farcaster, Discord, and Streamyard. Strong attention to detail, high responsiveness, and the ability to prioritize and execute time‑sensitive communications. Excellent written communication skills in English; able to convey complex narratives clearly and concisely. Demonstrated experience working cross‑functionally and navigating brand representation with sound judgment and intuition. What will you like about us?
