Location: Burbank, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) Duration: 6-Month Contract A leading entertainment company is seeking an experienced Motion Graphics Designer / Video Editor to create high-impact creative for digital marketing, social media, and user acquisition campaigns. This is a hands‑on creative role focused on producing engaging short‑form video content that combines gameplay, motion graphics, animation, and storytelling to drive audience engagement and campaign performance. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a passion for gaming, motion design, and performance marketing who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, collaborative creative environment. Responsibilities Design and animate motion graphics for paid social, user acquisition, and digital marketing campaigns. Edit gameplay footage, trailers, cinematics, voiceover, music, and sound effects into compelling short‑form videos. Create engaging storytelling through pacing, typography, animation, transitions, and visual effects. Develop both original creative concepts and multiple variations for creative testing across marketing campaigns. Build organized, reusable After Effects project files and production templates that support rapid iteration. Adapt creative assets across multiple platforms, aspect ratios, and campaign requirements. Collaborate with creative, production, marketing, and design teams throughout the creative development process. Participate in brainstorming sessions and apply campaign insights to improve future creative performance. Stay current on emerging creative trends, digital advertising best practices, and AI-powered creative tools. Required Qualifications 5+ years of professional experience in motion graphics, video editing, digital advertising, entertainment marketing, or performance-focused creative production. Experience creating user acquisition or performance marketing content for mobile games. Strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics, short‑form video, and visual storytelling. Advanced experience with Adobe After Effects . Strong proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro , Photoshop , and working knowledge of Illustrator . Strong understanding of animation principles, typography, composition, pacing, visual hierarchy, and editorial storytelling. Experience developing both original concepts and high-volume creative variations. Experience creating organized production systems, reusable templates, and scalable project files. Familiarity with advertising platforms such as Meta, Google, TikTok, and YouTube . Ability to manage projects from concept through final delivery while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience creating creative for mobile game genres such as puzzle, casual, hybrid casual, or strategy games. Experience working directly with User Acquisition or Performance Marketing teams. Familiarity with gameplay capture tools such as Unity or Unreal Engine. Experience with Cinema 4D, Blender, or other 3D software. Experience using creative AI tools such as Adobe Firefly, Runway, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms.
