Project Manager – JLLWhat this job involves:As a Project Manager at JLL, you will lead small to medium-sized projects ranging from tenant renovations to ground-up construction of new buildings. You will serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for clients, orchestrating all aspects of project delivery while working under the guidance of a project executive. This role is essential to JLL's mission of delivering exceptional real estate solutions, as you will drive project success through strategic planning, team coordination, and client relationship management. Your expertise will directly contribute to building environments that enhance our clients' operations and support their business goals across the New England region.What your day-to-day will look like:Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout project lifecyclesIdentify, procure, and manage services from designers, contractors, and other project team members to ensure quality deliveryPrepare, monitor, and manage project budgets and schedules, proactively addressing variances and ensuring financial targets are metOrganize and lead project meetings, including preparing agendas, facilitating discussions, and distributing comprehensive meeting minutesConduct regular site visits to project locations and client sites throughout the New England region, primarily in the greater Boston areaCoordinate with project executives to align on strategy, escalate issues, and ensure projects meet JLL's quality standardsTrack project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines while implementing proactive risk management strategiesRequired Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in building design, construction, or facilities managementBachelor's degree, preferably in a science-related field or other relevant discipline (engineering, architecture, construction management, facilities management)Proven track record of successfully managing small to medium-sized construction or renovation projects from initiation through completionStrong budgeting and financial management skills with demonstrated ability to control project costsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholdersProficiency in project management tools, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office SuiteValid driver's license and ability to travel regularly within the New England region for site visitsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritiesPreferred Qualifications:Experience with mechanical systems in laboratory environmentsBackground in public schools, K-12, or higher education facility projectsDemonstrated capability of managing multiple small to medium capital projects simultaneouslyExperience in healthcare, multifamily, or senior living construction projectsAbility to manage and cover projects in Rhode Island, Maine, and/or New HampshireProject Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent credentialFamiliarity with LEED or other sustainable building practicesLocation: Hybrid (Boston office-based with site visits throughout New England region; some work-from-home flexibility available based on client needs)Work Shift: Standard business hours with flexibility required for site visits and client meetingsThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
