SUMMARY

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage shipping, receiving, and inventory control functions, including cycle counting and order expediting
• Follow safety protocols and ensure upkeep of warehouse cleanliness and organization
• Operate a range of forklifts and warehouse vehicles safely and effectively
• Utilize barcode scanners and handheld devices for efficient inventory tracking
• Apply lean warehouse principles and follow FIFO practices to maintain flow and minimize waste
• Support both international and domestic shipping processes
• Use warehouse management systems and contribute to ongoing process improvements

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required; mechanical aptitude preferred (1-2 years of experience ideal)
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on warehouse/shipping experience
• Skilled in operating multiple types of forklifts
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. and using safety equipment including hard hat, steel toe boots, and safety glasses
• Familiarity with handheld scanning tools and barcode readers
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Verifiable and consistent work history
