Drafter

Seeking a Drafter to support multiple active custom fabrication projects. This individual will collaborate with project and fabrication teams to create technical drawings, fabrication packages, and production documentation for experiential environments, retail displays, exhibits, and custom-built installations. The ideal candidate possesses strong fabrication experience and can independently develop clear, accurate shop drawings using Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar parametric modeling software. This position requires someone who can quickly integrate into active projects, support accelerated production schedules, and effectively communicate engineering and fabrication concepts through technical documentation. Candidate must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced project environment with minimal supervision.

• 1-5+ years of drafting experience • Fabrication industry experience required • Experience supporting custom-built projects • Ability to translate design concepts into buildable components • Ability to interpret production requirements quickly • Experience with exhibit, scenic, retail, architectural, or experiential fabrication preferred • Strong communication skills • Ability to work EST business hours • Must possess own workstation • Must have access to required drafting software • Must provide shop drawing examples

This is a Contract position based out of Brooklyn, NY.

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $43.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
