Location: Various locations across Illinois

Infection Control Specialists focus on preventing and controlling infections within healthcare settings through policy development and education.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implementinfection prevention protocols.
Monitor infection rates andinvestigate outbreaks.
Educate healthcare staff oninfection control practices.
Collaborate with the public health agencies and healthcare providers.
Stay updated on guidelines and best practices for infection control.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in nursingor a related field; certification in infection control (CIC) preferred.
Experience in infectioncontrol or epidemiology.
Strong attention to detailand analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
