Memorial Healthcare System Physician and Provider Careers
Position Overview The Heart Institute at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital (JDCH) is seeking a full‑time pediatric transplant cardiologist to join an established team of specialists. The Heart Transplant Program began in 2010 and has become the second busiest program in Florida. Responsibilities Clinical care of pediatric and young adult patients, including inpatient, outpatient, and satellite clinic services. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists and advanced practice providers in heart failure, mechanical circulatory support (MCS), ventricular assist devices (VAD), and transplantation. Participation in research, multicenter studies, trials, and registries. Teaching and training of residents and fellows through the Memorial Hospital System’s ACGME‑accredited Residency and newly accredited Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship Programs. Qualifications Board‑certified in Pediatric Cardiology. Completed an advanced fellowship in heart failure and transplantation. Experience managing advanced heart failure and cardiac transplant patients, including use of mechanical circulatory support and VADs. Strong clinical acumen, commitment to patient care, and passion for teaching. Research interests encouraged and supported.
