Optum NY (formerly Optum Tri-State NY) seeks a patient‑centric Plastic Surgeon to join our practice in Middletown, NY. As a member of the Optum Care Delivery team you will work alongside talented peers in a collaborative environment guided by diversity and inclusion.

Position Highlights

Primary Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced technology to facilitate faster recovery for patients
• Special focus on Breast Surgery and general Plastics
• Manage high clinical demand with a large referral base from primary care providers and other specialties, providing opportunity to establish a successful practice
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes radiology and oncology, offering state‑of‑the‑art women’s imaging modalities and comprehensive oncology services with clinical trials
• Access to multiple surgical suites, ambulatory surgery center privileges, and a da Vinci robotic surgery system to support a busy practice

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $424,000 to $875,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on factors such as local labor markets, education, and work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance.

Required Qualifications

• Unrestricted licensure in the state of New York or a New York application in process
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Surgery
• Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start
