Elite Hospital Kingwood Days/Nights: 6‑6 Paramedic / Emergency Room Tech We are looking for paramedics who are seeking an exciting opportunity to join our team of highly motivated and energized professionals. Summary The skilled paramedic is a member of the clinical team that, under the direction of the physician and nurse, delivers care to patients with varying degrees of acute illness or injury. The purpose of this position is to assist and support the nursing/medical staff in the emergency room and to perform patient care, environmental tasks, and manage supplies and equipment to ensure a patient‑focused, cost‑efficient operation of the facility. The paramedic is accountable for the highest standards of patient care and promotes teamwork among the healthcare staff. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations BLS / Healthcare Providers CPR ACLS (Required) PALS (Required) Paramedic License High School Diploma or equivalent Qualifications, Education And Experience High School Diploma or equivalent Licensed Paramedic Years of recent experience in 911 emergency services Other combination of education and experience may be considered Depending on organizational needs, additional specific certifications may be required. Language Skills Ability to read and write in English, analyze and interpret written company policies, manuals, protocols, and/or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports concisely and organized. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from physicians, managers, patients, peer employees, and the general public. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, area and volume. Able to calculate figures and numbers related to the field of nursing. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
