Sprinkler Service Technician

Build your career with the industry-leading fire, life safety and security company.This position is responsible for the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems. Responsibilities include inspecting, testing, and performing system checks. This position will assist in identifying system deficiencies and preparing accurate and timely inspection reports.This position will service the Northwestern, OH area.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Install or upgrade fire sprinklers in commercial and residential buildingsConduct routine preventative maintenance on sprinkler fire suppression systemsService of wet, dry and pre-action fire suppression systemsInstalls, maintains, repairs, or replaces fire sprinkler equipment and systems in strict accordance with applicable codes and standardsServicing of wet based fire sprinkler systemsTest and repair alarm systems already in placeProtect and maintain company equipmentInspect and maintain the truck and all related equipmentOperate warehouse equipmentWork in a safe manner as outlined by company safety procedures including driver safety and personal protective equipmentRespond to emergency service callsAbility to follow direction and work independently when neededPerform other duties assigned by managementEducation & Qualifications:Must have a minimum of 5 years' fire sprinkler systems experienceExperience with commercial and residential systemsPerform physical requirements of the positionAbility to display knowledge of basic practicesAbility to recognize and report deviations through inspection programsAbility to work in a team environment as well as work independentlyAdhere to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety PolicyMust have a clean driving record and if needed reliable transportation to/from office or job siteBenefits and Perks:Excellent payMedical, dental, visionCompany paid life insuranceCompany paid short term disability401K with employer matchPaid vacation and company holidaysTraining and Career DevelopmentCompany vehicle (if job applicable)Pye-Barker Fire and Safety is an Equal Opportunity Employer Pye-Barker Fire & Safety
