Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential
• Demonstrated experience supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and carry out individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Adapt lessons and curricula to accommodate a range of abilities and learning styles
• Track student progress and maintain accurate and timely records
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and related service providers
• Engage in ongoing communication with families to keep them informed and involved in their child’s progress
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities
