Accounting Clerk | Asheville, NC (Historic Biltmore Village) | Onsite | Pay: $22–$24/hr | Salary upon conversion: $52,000–$68,600 About the role This is an accounting support role working directly with the Director of Finance and Assistant Director of Finance. The primary focus areas are payroll, income audit, and accounts receivable - with cross‑training in AP and other accounting functions as the role expands. What you'll actually do Process daily, weekly, and bi‑weekly payroll and prepare payroll journal entries Perform daily income audit and enter data into BiPortal Manage the full AR cycle – credit approvals, billing, collections, chargebacks, and bad debt write‑offs Conduct monthly credit meetings and maintain supporting documentation Prepare and distribute daily revenue reports to internal teams and corporate Monitor guest ledger, advance deposit ledger, and related internal controls Reconcile ledgers and assist with month‑end close Partner with Sales and Events on customer credit applications and deposit requirements Handle guest and client billing inquiries professionally and accurately Cross‑train in accounts payable and other accounting functions What we're looking for AR and payroll experience preferred; hotel accounting background a strong plus Proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate Excel skills Comfortable meeting month‑end deadlines with flexible hours during close periods Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and communication skills Accounting/finance coursework or equivalent hospitality experience Schedule: Mon‑Fri, 40 hours/week | Fully on site Engagement: Temp-to-perm (ongoing) Benefits through Ascendo during temp period #J-18808-Ljbffr
