The position will involve caring for a culturally diverse population and managing high-risk obstetric cases. RNs will circulate in cesarean sections and provide support during labor and delivery. Patient ratios and the expectation to float within the facility will be part of the role. Candidates are expected to have experience with charting systems, specifically Epic. The nursing staff will provide care to neonates, infants, and adult patients. Responsibilities include assisting with vaginal deliveries, postpartum care, and discharge teaching to parents. Other essential skills include the administration of medications, monitoring fetal heart rates, and managing complications during labor. Candidates must have experience in newborn assessments and understanding of mother-baby care protocols. Weekend work will be required to meet staffing needs.
