Supervisor / TIG Welder

Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Pay Rate: $25.00–$32.00/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | 8 or 10-Hour Day Shifts | Contract/Temporary

Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced  Supervisor/TIG Welder for a growing technology manufacturing company in Auburn Hills, MI. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the welding department while assisting with production welding as needed. If you have strong TIG welding experience, leadership skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the welding department, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are met.

• Monitor workflow and ensure welders remain on task and production schedules are maintained.

• Provide guidance, training, and support to welding team members.

• Step in to perform TIG welding and fabrication as production demands require.

• Weld and fabricate vessels, frames, process piping, and other components used in advanced manufacturing equipment.

• Coordinate with operations and production teams to prioritize work and meet manufacturing deadlines.

• Perform high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum.

• Complete sanitary welding, including polishing and post-weld cleanup when required.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and full-penetration welds.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of TIG welding experience (MIG experience is a plus).

• Previous experience leading or supervising a welding team preferred.

• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.

• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
