About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate General Counsel with a focus on litigation to join their dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse range of corporate litigation, including consumer class actions, commercial disputes, and government investigations, with a particular emphasis on privacy-related matters. This role requires a strategic and creative approach to litigation, the ability to operate in the face of ambiguity, and a talent for developing novel legal theories. The Associate General Counsel will be expected to work closely with business stakeholders, direct outside counsel, and make critical decisions on how to handle various legal challenges. Applicants for this role at The Company should have a J.D. from a U.S. accredited law school, active bar membership, and a minimum of 10 years of combined litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex litigation, including consumer class actions and government investigations, and be adept at developing and executing litigation strategies. Strong writing and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to influence and build relationships across a matrixed organization. The role demands a high level of creativity, the ability to think and write at a high level, and a reputation for outstanding legal work. Experience in high-growth technology or media companies is a plus.
