Speech Language Pathologist - SLP

Position Overview The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), is responsible for providing a full range of speech-language pathology services including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards. Licenses and Certifications Current, valid state SLP licensure. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC‑SLP) from ASHA preferred or required. Current valid CPR certification, preferred. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program. 0–1 years of experience. Roles and Responsibilities Evaluate patients to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders through assessments, standardized tests, and patient interviews. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on findings, setting measurable goals to address specific needs. Provide therapy to improve communication skills—including articulation, language comprehension, voice modulation, fluency, swallowing, and feeding abilities. Educate patients and families about disorders, therapy techniques, and strategies to support progress. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with policies and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. Other duties as assigned. Location 18275 S.
