About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Managing Director for Israel Education, a pivotal role that demands a visionary and collaborative leader to shape the future of Israel education across North America. This position is at the forefront of a national movement, with a focus on building a new, research-based framework for Israel education that spans from early childhood to immersive teen travel. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic vision and leadership, thought leadership, and program implementation, with a strong emphasis on driving impact and elevating the field. Key responsibilities include leading a high-performing team, developing and implementing a cohesive educational strategy, and serving as a thought leader and field builder in Israel education. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic and visionary leadership, educational innovation, and a deep commitment to strengthening Jewish identity through meaningful Israel education. They should be adept at leveraging research and data to inform decision-making, and be capable of influencing best practices across the field. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree preferred, and proficiency in Hebrew is an asset. The role demands a leader who can inspire and develop teams, influence organizations and partners, and is dedicated to the mission of ensuring that Jewish youth grow up proud, connected to Israel and the Jewish people, and equipped to navigate the world with confidence and resilience.
