Mechanical Assembler Key Details
- Location: Pasadena, TX 77507
- Duration: 12 months
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
- Compensation: $25-$30/hour
- Employment Type: W2 (not open to C2C, 1099, or visa sponsorship)
- Assemble valves from components.
- Disassemble and assemble Pressure Safety Valves (PSVs).
- Lap valve seats and discs.
- Calibrate set pressures.
- Perform seat leakage and set pressure testing.
- Install and bend stainless steel tubing.
- Assemble and repair control valves.
- Set up actuators and positioners.
- Perform hydro testing and pressure testing.
- Calibrate and troubleshoot valves.
- Read P&IDs, technical drawings, and assembly documentation.
- Assemble Becker valves.
- Perform stainless steel tubing fabrication and installation.
- Perform leak testing and troubleshooting.
- Perform mechanical assembly and repair.
- Hands-on valve assembly experience.
- Experience assembling valves from components.
- Experience calibrating valves.
- Experience with stainless steel tubing installation and bending.
- Experience reading technical drawings and assembly documentation.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing valve components.
- Pressure testing experience.
- Hydro testing experience.
- Pressure Safety Valve assembly experience.
- Experience lapping valve seats and discs.
- Experience calibrating set pressures.
- Experience performing seat leakage and set pressure testing.
- Knowledge of API standards and pressure relief valve operation.
- Control valve assembly and repair experience.
- Actuator and positioner setup experience.
- Experience reading P&IDs and assembly drawings.
- Becker valve assembly experience.
- Stainless steel tubing fabrication and installation experience.
- Leak testing experience.
