Mechanical Assembler
We are seeking Mechanical Assemblers with hands-on valve assembly experience for Safety Valve, Control Valve, and Becker Valve positions. Candidates should have direct experience assembling valves from components, calibrating valves, working with stainless steel tubing, reading technical drawings, and troubleshooting valve components.
Responsibilities include assembling valves from components, disassembling and assembling Pressure Safety Valves (PSVs), lapping valve seats and discs, calibrating set pressures, performing seat leakage and set pressure testing, installing and bending stainless steel tubing, assembling and repairing control valves, setting up actuators and positioners, performing hydro testing and pressure testing, calibrating and troubleshooting valves, reading P&IDs, technical drawings, and assembly documentation, assembling Becker valves, performing stainless steel tubing fabrication and installation, performing leak testing and troubleshooting, and performing mechanical assembly and repair.
Qualifications include hands-on valve assembly experience, experience assembling valves from components, experience calibrating valves, experience with stainless steel tubing installation and bending, experience reading technical drawings and assembly documentation, and experience troubleshooting and repairing valve components.
Preferred qualifications include pressure testing experience, hydro testing experience, Pressure Safety Valve assembly experience, experience lapping valve seats and discs, experience calibrating set pressures, experience performing seat leakage and set pressure testing, knowledge of API standards and pressure relief valve operation, control valve assembly and repair experience, actuator and positioner setup experience, experience reading P&IDs and assembly drawings, Becker valve assembly experience, stainless steel tubing fabrication and installation experience, and leak testing experience.
