Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with conditions such as CHF, COPD, cellulitis, pneumonia, and others.
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6/7 and provide care in a 30-bed unit.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and healthcare aides to ensure optimal patient care.
• Administer medications, including titrating heparin drips as necessary.
• Utilize equipment like intermittent BIPAP and monitor telemetry systems remotely.
• Adapt to floating requirements and adjust care based on census needs.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience with charting systems such as EPIC preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, acute care setting.
