What To Expect As an Apprentice Electrician with the Tesla Energy Commercial Deployment team you will have the opportunity to work under the direction and supervision of a Licensed Electrician on all phases of commercial PV, energy storage, and super charging stations. Skills in all areas of electrical are not necessarily required, but the job can and will involve a variety of electrical disciplines. A strong candidate will be able to perform a variety of electrical tasks from distribution/production power, lighting, and low voltage. Working as a team with the entire energy department, the apprentice electrician will assist with new installations of power distribution, transformers, lighting, and electrical equipment up to 480 VAC and 1000 VDC, inverters, batteries, and DC strings under the guidance of a Licensed Electrician. This role is 80% travel.
