Oncology Sales Specialist - Arkansas

Merck seeks an Oncology Sales Specialist to drive sales of oncology products across Arkansas and Southwest Missouri. The role involves engaging healthcare customers, communicating product value, and achieving territory sales goals in a field-based position requiring 25% overnight travel.
Responsibilities
- Attain or exceed assigned sales goals for the territory in collaboration with team members
- Meet with key stakeholders to understand practice structure, build relationships, and identify customer needs
- Communicate patient-centered product rationale using approved messaging and resources
- Analyze complex buying environments including GPOs, wholesalers, and specialty pharmacies
- Collaborate with Customer Team Leader and broader functional teams to ensure consistent customer experience
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years sales experience, or high school diploma with 10+ years equivalent experience
- 2+ years oncology field-based sales experience selling to oncology customers
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle
- Willingness to travel overnight approximately 25% of the time
- Residence in or near the assigned territory
- Knowledge of oncology disease states, treatment pathways, and clinical guidelines
