Oncology Sales Specialist - Arkansas

Merck seeks an Oncology Sales Specialist to drive sales growth across Arkansas and Southwest Missouri. The role involves engaging oncology customers, educating stakeholders, and exceeding territory sales targets through a field-based, customer-centric approach.

Responsibilities

• Attain or exceed assigned sales goals in collaboration with territory team members
• Meet with key stakeholders to understand practice structures, business models, and needs while building relationships
• Communicate patient-centered product rationale using approved messaging and resources in customer engagements
• Analyze buying environment trends, drug distribution channels, and prescription patterns to identify opportunities
• Develop and execute short- and long-term territory plans with local team and district manager

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years sales experience, or high school diploma with 10+ years equivalent experience
• 2+ years oncology field-based sales experience selling oncology therapeutics to oncology customers
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle independently
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% overnight and reside within the territory
• Strong knowledge of cancer staging, treatment pathways, and multidisciplinary care teams
• Experience in oncology field sales with expertise in NSCLC, HNSCC, melanoma, or women's cancers preferred
