Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)Peak Behavioral Health is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Norman, OK and surrounding cities to provide home-based and/or center-based services. We are looking for someone who is positive, personable, and enjoys working with children.Peak Behavioral Health is a multidisciplinary clinic that includes psychology, ABA, speech therapy, and occupational therapy. You'll be a part of a collaborative team that provides a unified approach in helping children with autism and other disabilities. We provide personalized treatment programs and the highest care possible.Part-time positions available with the opportunity to move into a full-time position if desired.Qualifications:Willing to obtain a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or already certified as an RBT2+ years of experience working with children, OR Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, education, child development, or a related field, OR a combination of experience and education.Excellent communication skills with other providers and familiesMust have great problem-solving skillsMust be highly organized and have a great eye for detailsPhysically able to lift up to 50 lbs.Physically able to play on the floor with children for long periods of time (crawl, kneel, sit, stand, and bend).Proficient in using technologyPassionate about helping children and their familiesA valid driver's licenseA reliable vehicle and up-to-date vehicle insuranceA Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) without recent or significant driving infractions.Job Duties:Attend team meetingsThoroughly and effectively document all sessionsCollect data accuratelyMaintain all clinical records in accordance with HIPPAUtilize the feedback given during BCBA supervisions accordinglyProvide ABA therapy in individual and group settingsDiscuss interventions with parents and caregivers in a professional mannerImplement interventions as described by the BCBACommunicate effectively with everyone on your client's treatment teamWork Environment: This position works in the clinic and home setting and will require some driving. This position may cause exposure to infectious diseases, blood, and bodily fluids.Travel: This position may require travel. While performing the duties of this position, the Behavior Technician travels by his or her own automobile and is exposed to changing weather conditions. The Behavior Technician must maintain personal insurance of the vehicle that they utilize during work hours.
