Lead Procurement Coordinator

• High-level management and oversight of agency procurement activities utilizing varied best practice procurement methods, with a large focus on the Request for Proposal method
• Review and/or develop specifications/scope of work for agency solicitations
• Develop complex requests for proposals and other solicitations and manage the solicitation through contract award
• Be the subject matter expert of the procurement process and ensure compliance with internal and external procurement policy, procedure, and regulations
• Collaborates in the evaluation and improvement of procurement procedures when necessary.
• Perform other related duties as required/assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable academic discipline or   related   field of study.
• 5  years of experience   working with local government, nonprofit programs, school, or in job-related duties.

• Experience in public procurement or local government
• Familiarity with RFP, RFQ, and IFB processes
• Experience handling requisitions and purchase orders
