Neurology Physician

We are seeking two Board Certified Neurologists for a full-time locum opportunity in South Carolina. This outpatient assignment focuses on general neurology and headache patients in a well-supported clinic environment with occasional telehealth coverage.

Schedule

• Monday Friday
• 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
• No call

Practice Setting

• Outpatient Neurology Clinic
• Adult patient population
• Primarily clinic-based
• Onsite laboratory
• Epic EMR

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage adult general neurology patients
• Diagnose and treat headache disorders
• Interpret EMG and EEG studies as needed
• Provide occasional telehealth services
• Document encounters in Epic

Patient Volume

• Approximately 23 patients per day

Team Structure

• 5 Registered Nurses
• 5 Medical Assistants
• Onsite Infusion Center
• EMG and EEG equipment available

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified in Neurology
• Active South Carolina medical license
• DEA required
• South Carolina CSR required
• BLS and ACLS required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Epic experience required

Credentialing

• Approximately days with an active South Carolina license
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• MMR and Varicella documentation required (waivers accepted)

Ideal Candidate

A Board Certified Neurologist with at least two years of experience who enjoys outpatient practice and treating general neurology and headache patients in a collaborative, well-supported clinic with access to EMG, EEG, and infusion services.
