Description

OVERVIEW

We are one of the largest family owned food distributors in the tri-state area. Our quality and freshness standards are supported by the most stringent supply chain disciplines. BENEFITS:

• Staring rate: $18.00hr
• Annual performance bonus up to $5,000

• Time off Package which includes: Sick and Holidays

SCHEDULES:

• Dispatch times: 2am-5am
• Shift: 10-12 hours per day, approximately
• Stops per route: 10-5 depending on location and route
• Weekends required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the driver with deliveries
• Maintain Department of Transportation rules
• Unloading of merchandise by the use of hand trucks
• Provide an excellent customer service experience by meeting customer needs during delivery

Position Requirements

• Ability to lift 50lbs and push or pull 150lbs
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations
• 1-2 years of experience making deliveries, loading or unloading items from a truck or in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Ablility to pass our pre-employment process which includes a phone screen, face to face interview, skills assessments, drug testing and criminal background check.
• Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays and sometimes extended hours on your scheduled days.
• No Driving experience required
