Travel We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at an outpatient facility in Lake Charles, LA. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills needed for everyday life. Minimum Requirements Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college. Active Louisiana COTA license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in outpatient clinic settings preferred. Experience with EMR systems. Experience with Practice Perfect is preferred. Ability to see approximately two patients per hour with ~30 minutes spent per patient. Comfort working in a team-oriented clinic that emphasizes mind-body connection and collaborative problem solving.

Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in clinics with tech-supported patient care where each patient is assigned a technician. Experience adapting treatment plans that integrate mental health and physical recovery approaches. Comfort using clinical judgment in a flexible, forward-thinking practice environment.

Assignment Details Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Patient appointments begin at 8:00 AM. Lunch break at 1:00 PM; end of day at 5:00 PM. Typically see two patients per hour; roughly 30 minutes per patient. Each patient is assigned a technician to support care.
