Principal Creative Recruiter at Synergis - CPACC Overview Location: Hybrid (Atlanta preferred, open to NYC or remote) Contract Type: W2 Contract Duration: 6+ months, with potential to extend About the Role We’re partnering with a leading media company to embed a UX/UI Designer into their app team as they embark on a major consumer-facing app redesign. This is an opportunity to challenge the status quo, bring fresh design thinking, and shape the next generation of a high-visibility digital product. The ideal candidate is visual-first, hands-on, and excited to rapidly explore, iterate, and present innovative design variations. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams but will be trusted to drive your own creative ideas, not just follow the group consensus. What You’ll Do Design consumer-facing digital experiences for a large-scale media app. Rapidly create multiple variations and prototypes to explore different approaches. Contribute to an existing design system , while challenging and pushing its boundaries when needed. Confidently present and articulate design decisions to stakeholders. Collaborate with product and engineering partners in a fast-moving, iterative environment. Focus primarily on visual design execution, rather than strategy or management. What We’re Looking For 2–6 years of professional experience as a Product Designer, UX Designer, UI Designer, or Visual Designer . Proven experience designing for B2C / consumer-facing products , ideally in media, entertainment, streaming, or publishing. Strong visual design skills with a portfolio showcasing polished, production-ready work. Comfort working within a design system while questioning conventions to improve outcomes. Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, collaborative environment , producing results quickly. A self-starter with curiosity, adaptability, and hunger to learn and grow. Nice-to-Haves Experience at media companies (broadcasting, streaming, digital publishing, entertainment, sports, news). Familiarity with app re-architecture or large-scale redesign projects. Experience collaborating with distributed or cross-location teams. Compensation and Benefits The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $50.00 to $75.00/hr.
