Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) care, located in Denver, Colorado. This role involves providing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards, ensuring exceptional care for neonatal patients. The selected candidate will perform assessments, develop care plans, and administer therapies to support life and well-being within the neonatal unit.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required; Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • One year of nursing experience, preferred in neonatal or pediatric care
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working specifically within Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU)
  • Certification relevant to neonatal or pediatric care as appropriate for the unit or service
• Additional Information:
  • Performs health assessments, health teaching, and health counseling to neonatal patients
  • Executes delegated medical functions and monitors therapy plans
  • Documents in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
  • May require floating to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
  • May be required to be placed on-call during scheduled shifts
