Collections Representative

Job Responsibilities Collects past due accounts (5+ days) within established objectives. Participates in a daily auto-dialer to collect accounts (5-15 days past due). Communicates with dealers to discuss delinquent accounts. Handles rewrites/extensions/transfers of interest for customers if appropriate. Assists in preparing legal paperwork should further actions need to be taken (i.e. repossessions). Prepares necessary reports that focuses on the health of the business. Account maintenance and research. Assists with customer service tasks. Special projects as assigned. 8-5PM Shift Qualifications & Skills Two years solid customer service and/or accounts receivable experience, front to back end, preferably in finance industry. Strong people skills, good verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual in Spanish or Punjabi preferred (written and spoken). Strong decision making, problem solving, negotiation skills. Ability to maintain a professional attitude and demeanor when dealing with challenging customers. Must possess ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Strong organizational skills. Proficient in Excel, Word and other MS Office tools Education High School Diploma required. College degree preferred.
