Short-Term Full Time Nanny Position (810 Weeks) Starting July 2026
Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
Location: Austin, TX, 78736
Compensation: $31$35 per hour (based on experience)

Overview

This family is seeking a short-term nanny for an 810 week placement beginning in July 2026. Their home is structured, with clear expectations around manners, consistency, and growth. Their current nanny has established a strong foundation, and they are looking for someone who can seamlessly step in as a positive role model their daughter can look up to.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is warm, proactive, and deeply invested in child development. They should bring a strong role model presence and be naturally engaging, with the ability to foster growth through intentional interactions and activities. Comfort working alongside involved parents is essential, as is a thoughtful, developmentally aware approach to caregiving.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, daily care for one child

• Reinforce good manners and age-appropriate structure

• Support potty training with consistency and patience

• Maintain a consistent nap routine (1:00 PM 3:00 PM)

• Plan and lead enriching, development-focused activities

• Encourage social development and independence

Activities & Transportation

The child participates in various classes and enrichment activities throughout the week. The nanny will be responsible for timely drop-offs and pick-ups using their personal vehicle. Reliable transportation is required, and gas reimbursement will be provided.

Household Scope

This role is strictly child-focused. Responsibilities include:

• Childs laundry

• Cleaning bottles and dishes used by the child

• Tidying toys and play areas

• Maintaining organization of child-related spaces
  (No general household duties required)
