MLR is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join a dedicated team at a reputable facility in Northern Illinois. In this role, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures to support the diagnosis of various patient conditions and injuries. Key responsibilities include operating radiologic equipment, preparing patients for exams, and ensuring images meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver accurate and timely imaging results.

Responsibilities for a Radiologic Technologist:

• Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Position patients correctly and administer contrast materials when necessary.
• Ensure equipment is in working order and perform routine maintenance.
• Follow protocols to obtain high-quality images and maintain patient records.
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address concerns.
• Collaborate with physicians to review and interpret imaging results.
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols and radiation protection measures.
• Participate in continuing education and stay updated on advancements in imaging technology.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards, including patient confidentiality.

Rad Tech Job Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Illinois State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (IEMA).
• Experience in performing diagnostic imaging procedures preferred.
• Proficiency in operating radiologic equipment and software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
