Part Time Summer Position - Pool Manager

Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 Hourly

Job Description

This position is responsible for on-site day-to-day operations of managing the lifeguards/swim instructors at the Centennial Park Pool. This includes ensuring that the pools are operable and safe for public use. They are responsible for inspecting pool equipment and reporting issues, as well as assisting in the preparation of reports and aquatic staff schedules. An ideal candidate would be highly motivated, self-driven, and extremely safety minded. They would also be organized with great communication skills.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in lifeguarding. Certification as a Lifeguard and as First Aid & CPR-PRO required. Contact Olga as noted below if you have questions regarding certifications.

Examination Process

Only the most qualified applicants will be considered. Qualifications are determined based on submission of an Employment Application. The City Manager, upon recommendation of the department head, will make the final selection and appointment for this part time, at-will position.

The examination process may consist of the following parts: Application Package Review: Qualifying Only; Oral Interview: Pass/Fail.
