Since 2012, Boardwalk's investment strategy is to actively acquire, stabilize, and manage real estate located in California.

JOB SUMMARY

Oversees property management operations across a diverse real estate portfolio, including commercial and residential properties. Ensures high-quality tenant experiences, operational efficiency, and optimal property performance while maintaining compliance with regulations and company standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead property management teams across commercial and residential properties, including hiring, training, and performance management. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across the portfolio. Oversee day-to-day property operations, including maintenance, vendor management, and tenant services. Monitor financial performance, including budgets, expenses, and revenue, and implement strategies to maximize profitability. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and environmental standards. Partner with leasing, asset management, and acquisitions teams to support property performance and strategic initiatives. Manage tenant relations, including resolving escalated issues, disputes, and lease enforcement matters. Track and analyze key performance metrics, including occupancy, retention, operational costs, and maintenance response times. Oversee capital projects, renovations, and preventive maintenance programs to maintain property value and appeal. Coordinate regular property inspections and audits to ensure quality standards are met. Develop and maintain reporting for executive leadership and investors on property performance and operational status. Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and enhanced tenant satisfaction. Ensure vendor contracts and service agreements are negotiated effectively and monitored for performance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or related field (Certified Property Manager designation preferred). A California Department of Real Estate salesperson's license. 7+ years of property management experience, including leadership roles overseeing commercial and residential properties. Strong knowledge of property operations, maintenance, tenant relations, and regulatory compliance. Experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, Entrata) and financial reporting systems. Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
