Social Media Intern

OneUnited Bank is seeking college students for a fantastic opportunity to learn about social/digital media marketing as a social media intern. Bring your enthusiasm and be ready to learn and grow. This is a paid internship. Responsibilities and Expectations: Creating copy/captions for social media posts that align with our brand voice/tone Researching trending topics, online conversations, and relevant industry news for the bank’s social media Handling customer inquiries and questions via social media channels Participate in weekly social media marketing meetings Using Sprout Social to gather social engagement and performance data Complete special projects as assigned Minimum Qualifications: College student pursuing an Associate or Bachelor’s degree – all majors considered Relevant work or internship experience in communications, customer service, or finance role Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including proofreading) Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Blogs) Experience working in a Mac OS environment The Bank is in full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and does not discriminate with regard to applicants or employees with disabilities, and will make reasonable accommodation when necessary.
