Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students with communication needs in a dynamic district setting near Holyoke, MA. This role begins as soon as possible and extends through June 15, 2027. Enjoy flexible scheduling—while full-time is preferred, part-time applicants will also be considered if it’s the perfect match. The caseload spans K-12th grade across the district, offering an excellent mix of experiences.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Massachusetts SLP CCC Certification is required
- Experience working in school-based environments or with school-aged children preferred
- Strong skills in evaluations, report writing, and participation in IEP meetings
- Comfortable collaborating with and overseeing SLPAs providing direct services
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students
- Prepare thorough reports that inform instructional and therapeutic decisions
- Present findings and recommendations at IEP meetings as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Provide some direct treatment services, with the support of SLPAs handling the majority of direct student sessions
- Ensure adherence to relevant state and federal regulations within school settings
