Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving K-12 students in a vibrant educational setting near South Hadley, MA. This position spans the academic year, beginning in September 2026 and concluding in June 2027, providing a structured schedule of 35 hours across five days each week. You'll collaborate with a dynamic team dedicated to supporting the communication needs of students.
Successful candidates will possess an SLP MA credential and demonstrate comfort and expertise across a range of settings—whether you're an experienced clinician (SLP-CCC), a Clinical Fellow (CFY), or thrive in teletherapy, you'll be well-equipped to make a positive impact. Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations is highly valued, as you’ll be working directly with diverse K–12 learners to assess, diagnose, and treat speech-language and communication disorders.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid SLP MA license and certification
- Strong clinical background in pediatric or school-based settings
- Experience with teletherapy platforms preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teaching staff, parents, and support personnel
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Provide direct and/or virtual speech-language therapy interventions
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
- Consult with educators and families to foster student success
- Maintain accurate records and comply with educational and regulatory requirements
