Scheduling Assistant

To enhance the efficiency of healthcare professionals, the full-time Mississippi Scheduling Assistant will manage scheduling and contact center activities, assist with patient appointment coordination, and document medical histories in a remote environment while maintaining high standards of confidentiality. Key responsibilities Assist with scheduling and contact center activities for patient appointments Answer inbound calls to schedule appointments for new or existing patients Collect and document patient medical history into the electronic medical record (EMR) Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare-specific training preferred Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Empathy and a caring attitude towards patients Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, private workspace
